How do I place an ad?

For over 25 years Currents has been the official newsletter of the NASW-NYC Chapter. It is provided to over 10,000 members as a membership benefit 8 times each year, reaching the broadest base of the New York City social work market.

NASW members are employed in a broad spectrum of settings, including social service agencies, hospitals, businesses, nursing homes, managed care, criminal justice, and government. They work as administrators, case managers, supervisors, educators, private practitioners, community organizers, school social workers, employee assistance counselors, and more.

Classified Rates 

$13.00 per line, 40 characters/line and six line minimum.   Please email ad copy to ads@naswnyc.org.  There will be an additional $15.00 charge on all ads not received via email.

How do I place an ad in Currents?

Please email us at ads@naswnyc.org and include all billing information and your advertisement in your email to ensure publication. The information should include:

  • First Name and Last Name
  • Company Name
  • Complete Billing Address
  • Day time Contact Telephone Number
  • NASW Membership Number (if applicable)
  • Form of payment (Check or credit card)
  • Which issue(s) to run your ad

 

Advertising Policy:  All advertising copy is subject to the publisher's approval.  NASW reserves the right to reject advertisements for any reason at any time.  NASW is not liable if an advertisement is omitted for any reason.  Publication of an advertisement does not constitute endorsement or approval of contents of a book, point of view, standards of service or opinion presented therein, nor does NASW guarantee the accuracy of information given.  Because of commitment of NASW to non-discriminatory personnel practices, advertisers in NASW publications, by action of the National NASW Board of Directors, must affirm they are equal opportunity employers.

Ad copy is posted weekly.  All ads run for one month.  Classified rates for NASWNYC web site is $50 for 30 words (Minimum charge).  $1 for each additional word.
