Supervisory tasks: •To teach and model a diagnostically informed understanding of individual and family dynamics regarding assessment and client interventions •To ensure collaborative, strengths-based treatment planning with clients •To assist workers to develop an incremental outcome orientation to the work with clients, rather than a recurrent crisis management approach GRANDPARENTING PROVISION FOR LICENSURE Education Law allows an applicant who is a certified social worker on September 1, 2005, to become licensed as an L.C.S.W. without meeting the requirements for the clinical content in the M.S.W. degree or further examination if the applicant: • is a licensed and currently registered New York State certified social worker; • submits an application (Form LCSW-1) and fee for initial licensure ($270) by September 1, 2005; and • documents at least three years of full-time experience, or the part-time equivalent, of psychotherapy experience (Form LCSW-4) under supervision acceptable to the Department (Form LCSW-4B and Form LCSW-4Q, if applicable).
