1:00 Legal Q&A
Bruce Hillowe J.D., Ph. D., an attorney specializing in mental healthcare law, brings to this presentation his special perspective as a former clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst. Bruce’s “Health Law Supplement” (at the “Firm Newsletter” tab at www.BruceHillowe.com ) provides an idea of the scope of legal, risk management, documentation, and regulatory questions Bruce is prepared to field in today’s information-packed Q&A.
Would you like to earn more money? Practice building consultant Lynne Spevack LCSW discusses the ins and outs of fees. We’ll consider setting and collecting fees, determining fee policies, some of the common obstacles to earning more money and ways to overcome those hurdles.
Advanced registration is required; there is no same day registration.
Early registration is encouraged: Previous Private Practice Day events have sold out in the first week of registration. With a maximum attendance of 65, we encourage early registration so that you are not closed out of the event.
This event is open to LCSWs only. We regret that we cannot accommodate non-LCSWs at this event. This event is geared towards the solo private practitioner, and will not address the concerns of group practices. Please feel free to contact PPG chairperson Lynne Spevack with any questions or concerns.
Registration is for the full day only; you cannot register for individual workshops. While we anticipate that many clinicians will want to make the most of the day by attending all of the day’s workshops, each workshop is designed to stand alone.
Your willingness to use our online registration system is appreciated.
If you require registration assistance you may contact the chapter at 212-668-0050 during business hours.
