NASW-NYC PACE: NASW's Political Arm
PACE endorses candidates who espouse social work values and who work to promote goals such as loan forgiveness and licensing. The Committee’s mission includes educating and involving social workers in the political process. Click here for more information on PACE.
Institutional Racism & The Social Work Profession: A Call to Action Inspired in large part by the “Undoing Racism” Workshops in NYC, led by the People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond, this Call to Action identifies what individual social workers, schools of social work, and service agencies all need to do to address the effects of racism. On Any Given Day, Social Workers Help
The National Social Work Public Education Campaign has created tools for social workers to use to educate people about the breadth and depth of the profession. We have created advertising, public relations and marketing materials that tell people about the profession. Now, we have a video (see above) that will show people that, on any given day, social workers help in so many ways.
