If your provider status has been changed to "inactive," challenge it on two counts:
- Contract requires prior notice of any provider termination.
- Managed care reform act outlaws termination without cause.
When fiercely contested by the provider and the clients, whose mental health benefits are managed by MBC, providers have been reinstated.
