On January 17, 2008, NASW-NYC invited members of the State Senate in New York City to meet with members of the social work community from across the five boroughs, to acknowledge the values and policies that we have shared over the years and to discuss future directions, including the NYS Licensed Social Worker Loan Forgiveness Program.

Our Open House was co-sponsored by Senators John L. Sampson (District 19) and Diane J. Savino (District 23) and by our Political Action Committee, NYC-PACE.
