Join the NASW-NYC Chapter and Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield for Part One of our Senior Series, a four-part event spread out over two weeks, for seniors and social workers that serve seniors.

Senior Wellness Event with Relaxation Zensation 


Kick off the NASW-NYC x Empire BCBS Senior Series with a wellness event designed for both seniors and social workers that work with seniors.


Invite your elders to join!


Half of this portion of the series will be devoted to stress management skills and the other half will focus on chair yoga. Facilitated by Sue Panurach, lead wellness coordinator of Relaxation Zensation, this portion of the series aims to support and encourage the wellness of our seniors and our social workers.


Join us and devote this hour to your mental and physical self-care!

About the Facilitator: Sue Panurach, a lead wellness coordinator for Relaxation Zensation, is a social worker at Global Kids and works primarily with high school students. Sue also works with senior centers throughout NYC as a Tai Chi and Chair Yoga instructor. Sue’s primary focus is on community organizing and is a huge advocate of grassroots efforts, especially those related to spreading awareness of health and wellness. In her spare time, Sue enjoys spending time practicing acro yoga.

About Relaxation Zensation: A premier health and wellness organization that specializes in relaxing yet stimulating activities tailored to all types of populations to meet their physical needs, they provide lessons in Tai Chi, Chair Yoga, and Qigong breathing techniques as well as upbeat and fun sessions in Zumba and dance. Their certified instructors have heard amazing feedback from the many organizations they have worked with over the years and the staff always report their clients as being happier, more energetic, and they themselves enjoy participating in the lessons as well.
