Join the NASW-NYC SOGIE (Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity Expression) Collective and the Callen-Lorde Community Health Center for the recurring monthly healing circle for LGBT+ Identifying social workers and other mental health professionals. 

 

Held every THIRD WEDNESDAY of the month and in partnership with the NASW-NYC CARES initiative, the healing circle will be led by Muhammed Garland, LMSW and Emilio Tavarez, MSW, co-chairs of the SOGIE Collective, and Beatrice Rothbaum, MA, from Callen-Lorde.

 

Meant to serve as a support group for LGBT+ identifying social workers and mental health professionals, the healing circle will provide opportunity to hold space for each other and share stories and experiences in a confidential setting.

FREE & Open to BOTH NASW Members and Non-Members. 

 

This group is NOT clinical and does NOT have a closed format.

 

Please note that this group does NOT offer social work CEUs.
