At this meeting, which is the
annual 9/11 Anniversary Remembrance and Reflection meeting, we'll have a
chance to consider our social work at that time and now in the midst of
each set of collective traumas, collective losses. Framing this will be
our recognition of unfolding, relentless losses in the realm of
COVID-19 and systemic racism, and while the West Coast wildfires
devastate the region, a result of climate change. We'll consider, too,
the continually worsening election context and voting circumstances.
I
look forward to seeing you at the meeting, to offer support to one
another, and to share advocacy efforts, your social justice work, and

As
of this September meeting, all meetings will be held monthly on the 3rd
Friday morning of each month. The next meeting will be October 16.
