The NASW-NYC CURRENTS Newsletter is now scheduled to be a bi-annual newsletter with one release in the Fall/Winter season and the second in the Spring/Summer season. 

Use the next issue of Currents to get the word out to our 5,000+ members about your upcoming events, programs, or other important announcements, office space, or employment opportunities by submitting your text and/or your image.  Once payment has been submitted and receipt of the advertisement has been acknowledged and approved, the ad will be posted in the upcoming CURRENTS issue release.  The issue will be posted on www.naswnyc.org/CURRENTS until the following issue is released.

Full Page Ad - $1,000.00 USD 

Full Page Ad Dimensions: 7" x 9.5"  

1/2 Half Page Ad - $500.00 USD 

1/2 Half Page Ad Dimensions: Vertical 3.5" x 9.5" / Horizontal 7" x 4.75"

Once payment has been submitted, please email your high-resolution ad image (300 dpi+) as a .jpg or .pdf in the proper dimensions to ads.naswnyc@socialworkers.org

Please include your full company name and the type of ad you've purchased in your subject line when submitting image. 

PLEASE NOTE: Images received without payment in full of desired ad size will not be included in the upcoming issue of CURRENTS.

Advertising Policies

NASW-NYC accepts advertising for: Non Continuing Education Credit Professional development, meetings such as workshops, conferences, classes, and courses; employment; publication; office rentals; social work related products and services; situations wanted; organizational services; referrals to organizations and institutions; consultation (limited to licensed social workers - LMSW or LCSW) and study groups.

All advertising copy is subject to the publisher’s approval. NASW reserves the right to reject advertisements for any reason at any time.  NASW is not liable if an advertisement is omitted for any reason.  Publication of an advertisement does not constitute endorsement or approval of contents of a book, point of view, standards of service or opinions presented therein; nor does NASW guarantee the accuracy of information given.  Because of the commitment of NASW to non-discriminatory personnel practices, advertisers in NASW publications, by action of the National NASW Board of Directors, must affirm they are equal opportunity employers.

NASW-NYC Refund Policy

All refund requests must be submitted by e-mail to accounting.naswnyc@socialworkers.org. Refund e-mails must include the subject line "Refund Request-CURRENTS AD" as well as the organization/person's name, in the body of the e-mail. Valid requests must be received no later than three business days prior to issue release month. NASW-NYC reserves the right to refuse any refunds requested later than three days prior to the issue release month.
