Registration Instructions
Under "Attendee Selections" please make sure that you select all Speakers and one Workshop per Session for the day(s) you plan to attend. You will only be granted entrance to sessions for which you have registered for and cannot change your selected sessions once registration has been completed.
In the unlikely event a workshop session is cancelled, NASW-NYC reserves the right the place you in a workshop of NASW-NYC's choosing.
Workshops will indicate if they are eligible for other continuing education credits (CASAC) aside from social work in the session descriptions. Attendees must provide their license type and number in the evaluation in order to receive their certificate(s) of completion at the end of the conference.
Please ensure that your registration information (name, e-mail, session choices) is accurate as this will impact your continuing education certificates. NASW-NYC is not responsible for the accuracy of your registration information.
NASW-NYC Attendee Certificates Policy
As per New York State Continuing Education guidelines, attendees must arrive on time and attend all of the sessions they registered for to receive their Continuing Education Contact Hours.
Any attendees who arrive late or leaves early from the sessions in their registration (including keynote sessions)
will not
receive their certificate and is not eligible for a refund in any way.
Once workshop sessions are selected in registration, attendees may not change their selected sessions. Attendees must remember their selected sessions as they will be responsible for entering their own sessions on time. If attendees choose to attend the conference partially, they will only receive the hours listed for the breakout sessions they attended.
In the unlikely event a workshop session is cancelled, NASW-NYC reserves the right the place you in a workshop of NASW-NYC's choosing.
Attendees may not share their unique webinar entry link with anyone else. Webinar entry links are unique to the registered attendee and will affect your attendance and CEUs.
Please ensure your registration and evaluation information is accurate as this may impact your attendance and continuing education certificates. NASW-NYC is not responsible for the accuracy of your information. To receive your continuing education certificate of completion, you must be present for all registered sessions and complete all related evaluations.
NASW-NYC Attendee Refund Policy
All refund requests must be submitted by e-mail to
workshops.naswnyc@socialworkers.org
with the subject line "
Conference - Refund Request
" and must include the
attendee's full name and registration email
in the body of the e-mail. Valid requests must be received no later than
Monday, May 27, 2024.
NASW-NYC reserves the right to refuse any refunds requested after the refund deadline date.
All refunds are subject to a 25% administrative processing fee
Refund requests typically require 1-2 weeks processing time. Refunds ONLY; credits cannot be issued towards a future program/event.
Special Accommodations
If you require special accommodations to permit your attendance, please email a written request to

Friday, May 3, 2024 with the subject line "Conference - Accommodations"
. Requests received after the deadline may not be able to be processed or fulfilled in time for the event.
Notice of Filming and Photography
Please be advised that photography, and audio and video recording of participants at NASW-NYC events may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, and video recording (referred to as the “Recordings”) and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction for promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose reasonably related to the mission of the National Association of Social Workers.
You release NASW-NYC, its officers, employees and agents from any liability connected with such use of the Recordings and waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with such use of the Recordings. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by NASW-NYC or the person or entity designated to do so by NASW-NYC.
Virtual Code of Conduct
NASW-NYC is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), nationality, level of experience or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of program participants in any form, nor do we tolerate behavior that would reasonably lead to another participant being made to feel unsafe, insecure, or frightened for their physical or emotional well-being. All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience. Program participants, including stakeholders, violating these rules may be expelled from the program without a refund at the discretion of the organizers. By registering, you are agreeing to follow the code of conduct.
