LGBT Committee Meeting: Transgender Basics!

This meeting will focus on everything you need to know to effectively work with your transgender clients. Whether you’ve been doing this for some time or are new, this will be a great monthly meeting to refresh your memory and learn.

Guest speaker Skyler Christian A. Cruz, MSW, is an award winning LGBTQ activist and mentor as well as a member of the Trans Bodies, Trans Selves Board of Directors. He has over 13 years of experience working with young people from ages 6-22 with over 7 of those years working with LGBTQ youth.

Snacks and beverages provided.

As the LGBT Committee is a professional group, only professional social workers and social work students are invited to attend the monthly meetings.
