This workshop will be an interactive session focused on helping current and aspiring social work executives organize and present their best thoughts, strategies and achievements to key audiences to advance their organizations’ missions. Participants will work together to organize and present their ideas to the group, offer and receive feedback on presentation styles and delivery, and walk away with practice exercises.
At the end of this workshop, attendees will be able to:
- Plan and execute public speaking presentations
- Incorporate their personal stories and experiences into their remarks
- Effectively engage audiences
Presenter Information:
Dr. Danielle Moss Lee is CEO, of the YWCA of the City of New York, Co-Chair of the New York City Council’s Young Women’s Initiative, and Mayor Appointee to the NYC Commission on Gender Equity. She is a much sought after speaker and thought leader in the areas of educational access and gender equality. She sits on the Board of Managers of Swarthmore College, her alma mater, and chairs the Board of Directors of Black Agency Executives.
