In light of the most recent shootings in Minneapolis, Baton Rouge, Dallas and too many others communities across the Nation, so many of us are struggling. Here in our very City, New Yorkers are experiencing how this historical and collective pain is giving rise to tensions, actions and growing divides between and within groups. NASW-NYC and Fordham University GSSS are joining efforts to organize important conversations so that we may learn, communicate & heal together.
- Discuss our historical & collective trauma and its impact on our beings, our communities and our practice.
- Share space and plan together to make sustainable changes in our communities.
- Share tips and resources for discussing these issues.
- Learn about ways to connect and organize to build a collective “net that works”.
