After the Election: Planning and Strategizing as We Continue Taking Care of Ourselves and Each Other
The next meeting will focus on strategizing in the context of the election. All social workers are welcome. We will have an opportunity to bring into conversation our many ideas for multi-level engagement and collaboration as we move forward. This includes grassroots, community-based, local, national, and global efforts, electoral, governmental, issue-specific, and issue-diverse action, along with storytelling, media work, producing art, and cross-generational engagement, with an analysis including a historical and political context, a social justice and racial equity frame, and a dynamic mental health perspective, among others. Please RSVP to mgmiller96@aol.com.
Sending best-
Madelyn
