| The NASW-NYS/NYC Virtual Social Work Job Fair |
|
Launched in January 2021 by the NASW-NYC Chapter, the Virtual Social Work Job Fair was originally created to support New York City social workers across various levels and fields of practice. It quickly became a vital resource for those entering the profession or seeking new career opportunities.
Now an official biannual event of the soon-to-be-unified NASW-NYS and NASW-NYC Chapters, the fair has connected hundreds of social workers with a wide range of employers and job openings.
For Summer 2025, the event is expanding in reach and impact—now featuring employers from across New York State. This broader focus reflects the unification of the Chapters and offers a unique opportunity for social workers statewide to connect with hiring organizations, explore new roles, and engage with their professional community.
